Clamdust is James. James
used to play in Language Arts, Bellingham's
staple pop band of the last five years. This album is 16 tracks of
four-tracked material that James wrote and recorded over the last 4-5 years.
Mostly acoustic songs, they are filled out with all the lovely toys and
harmonies that make modern indie pop just so sweet
and delicious. Which isn't to say the album is all apple
orchards and glee. James has a knack for the darker heartfelt, and it
bleeds through. James is currently working on a new project called The Daffidils and is based in PDX, though a return to Bellingham is rumored.
